How much money can a table of yummy cakes and biscuits raise for charity? Nearly a thousand pounds, if DGHUK supporters in west Scotland are anything to go by!

The Friends of Dr Graham’s Homes branch in Arran, North Ayrshire, recently held their popular “Koffee for Kalimpong” morning at Brodick Church Hall on the Isle of Arran. The event, which was attended by DGHUK’s Honorary Vice President Rev John Webster, featured a raffle, an excellent turnout from local supporters and – most crucially – a huge selection of cakes, biscuits and home baked delicacies.

Together, they were able to raise the amazing sum of £928 towards sponsorship fees for a child at the Homes in Kalimpong. We’re hugely grateful for their efforts, and would like to extend our thanks to all the supporters and volunteers who made the event such a success.
