Dr Graham’s Homes

Are you a Member or Friend of DGHUK? If so, we’d be delighted if you could join us for our Annual General Meeting. This year’s AGM is returning to Edinburgh on Wednesday 24 May 2023, followed - in time-honoured tradition - by our usual Curry Lunch.

Where and when is it?

The AGM is taking place at The Royal Scots Club in central Edinburgh, our regular venue. The meeting starts at 10:30am and the buffet curry lunch will be served from 12:45pm. If you can’t make it to Edinburgh, we can also arrange for you to attend by Zoom.

Who is it for?

The AGM is open to all Members and Friends of DGHUK, though only Members can vote. (If you’re not sure whether you are a Member or a Friend, please get in touch with the sponsorship secretaries and they’ll let you know!)

What’s on the agenda?

We are required to hold an AGM of “the old committee” (UK Committee Dr Graham’s Homes, Kalimpong), but this will be very brief. After that, the AGM of the new company - Dr Graham’s Homes Kalimpong (UK) - will take place. There will be detailed reports from DGHUK Committee members and also updates about the Homes, followed by an opportunity for questions.

How do I book?

Numbers are limited for the Curry Lunch, so please email the DGHUK Secretary - secretary@drgrahamshomes.co.uk by 10 May at the latest to secure your place. Tell her your name, the names of any guests you plan to bring, and whether you would like to attend the AGM or the Curry Lunch - or both. The lunch costs £22 and includes a glass of wine + tea / coffee; you can pay for this on the day by cash or cheque.
